We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Project Services team at Cosmic Connect Pty Ltd.
As IT Business Analyst (IT BA) you will act as a liaison between the business community and the IT team to translate business needs into IT requirements. This will include:
- Communicating with business stakeholders to identify and define system requirements
- Documenting requirements specifications
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are required/feasible.
- Supporting multiple business functions and one or more highly complex business processes requiring design or integration of technical solutions, which may cross multiple functions of the business.
- Investigation and development of the business case and development life cycle processes
- Identifying how such solutions will impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration
- Conduct research and make recommendations for buy vs. build decisions.
- Participate as a project team member, influencing and guiding in all phases of the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions
Your skills and experience will include:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Business Analyst
- Sound knowledge of SDLC principles
- In-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes
- Deep understanding of one or more major components of the business enterprise, including demonstrated business analysis, process mapping, and business systems experience
- Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions that meet operational improvement needs
- Considerable experience working within cross-functional teams
- Office365, SharePoint, and MS PowerApps (Flow, PowerApps, Forms, etc.)
- Dynamics 365/CRM/ERP configuration and customization preferred
Any/all the following advantage: SQL Server 2008/2012/2016, PowerBI, data analysis, Azure DevOps
